Lotan Yeung has been playing piano since he was 7 and began learning violin from the age of 9. He has also picked up orchestral percussion in the last few years. Lotan has been under the instruction of Marcella Schantz and Phillip Santos for violin and currently studies under Dr. Ann Miller at the University of the Pacific pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education.
Lotan has had the privilege of performing under the baton of Omid Zoufonoun, Steven Hendee, Euan Shields, Dr. Nicolas Waldvogel, and Dr. Eric Hammer in various orchestras and bands. He also enjoys performing in small chamber ensembles with friends.
His passion for music comes from his eagerness to share what he has learned from his experiences and journeys through the world of music.
