Johnny Valdes has been teaching guitar since 1999. He attended the Jazz Conservatory in Berkeley California where he studied with Jazz guitarist Mimi Fox.

Johnny has been part of three Modesto Area Music Award (MAMA) winning bands and has been playing professionally for more than two decades.

He's recorded with Jazz legend John Stowell and has also performed with Barry Finnerty (Miles Davis), and David K. Matthews (Santana). Johnny has also performed
with Mic Gillette and Marc van Wageningen (Tower of Power).
