Beginning her passion for music at a young age, Sarah started off singing with children’s choirs through the public-school system beginning at age 13 through the end of her high school career. Sarah’s choir experience inspired her to attend University at Stanislaus State to pursuit a degree in Vocal Performance emphasizing in Classical Recital Performance and experience with Opera and Musical Theater.
Ensembles that Sarah has joyfully performed with include the California State University Chorale, University Chamber Singers at CSU Stanislaus, Stanislaus State Opera, and Good Shepard Lutheran Church Choir in Turlock. Sarah has also programmed and performed two Vocal Recitals, one in 2018, and recently her Senior Recital in April which lead to the completion of her Music degree in May of 2019.
Teaching at GK Music since February, Sarah has leaped at the opportunity to use her knowledge and experience from Vocal Masterclasses and personal experience to engage in a one-on-one interactive learning experience for her students- to uniquely shape to their music educational needs. Including theory study, the study of solfeggio, and the practice of reading notated music, Sarah uses these tools to help encourage a young singer to be confident, successful, and musically-independent.
