Matthew Hendrickson
Matt Hendrickson is a drummer and educator with extensive experience as both a performer and instructor. He attended C.S.U. Stanislaus, studying music performance, He has performed with distinguished artists including The Coasters, The Drifters, Clark Terry, Bill Watrous, Jon Faddis, Pete Escovedo, Jack Sheldon and Cheech Marin, bringing a wealth of professional expertise into his teaching.
As an instructor, Matt emphasizes strong technical foundations, musicality, and stylistic versatility. His lessons are tailored to the needs of each student, whether developing fundamental skills, preparing for academic ensembles, or pursuing advanced performance goals. With a background spanning rock, funk, blues, jazz and country, Matt provides students with the tools and knowledge to succeed as confident, well-rounded musicians.
